The tried-and-tested SmokyThek (SMT) has been the classic vending machine for cigarettes and tobacco products since 1992.
Thanks to its versatility and various designs, it adapts ideally to a wide range of store formats.
It successfully reduces inventory discrepancies and analyzes sales for optimum brand diversity.
The storage unit is placed strategically in inconspicuous locations and the selection unit is in the customer's direct field of vision.

Strategic placement for maximum efficiency
The SmokyThek consists of a storage unit and a dispensing unit.
The storage unit is placed here in unused areas. Depending on the type of store and the checkout situation, the space under the goods conveyor belt of the checkout counter, behind it or under a sales counter may be suitable.
Placement behind a wall with an opening into the sales area is also possible and is often used in 24/7 stores or unstaffed stores.
While the storage unit is placed inconspicuously, the selection unit is always positioned in the customer’s field of vision.
This makes optimum use of the sales area and increases attention to the tobacco products.
Customers can select products themselves via the touch PC – provided that the legal regulations allow self-selection.
If the legal regulations do not permit this or if the personal relationship with the customer is valued, the product selection and issue is carried out by the sales staff.
Intuitive product selection with the touch PC
An intuitive touch PC is available for product selection.
This is available in two sizes: 10″ or 22″.
The user interface is clearly laid out and allows items to be sorted alphabetically or by product group.
It is also possible to call up sales statistics and fill levels.

SmokyThek UT
The SmokyThek UT (under-table) is placed under the goods conveyor of the checkout counter.
It can be integrated into VTEC checkout counters and third-party systems.
Product selection is made via a 22″ touch PC facing the customer.
The products are dispensed to the customer or to the cashier.
